Try to imagine you have a large baitboat which operates under radio control at long range. inside the boat you install a sonar and a pda palm top computer the size of a mobile phone. the pda has a gps receiver inside. the sonar is connected to the pda. now everywhere the boat goes, the sonar depth gets sent via cable to the pda..
