Re: petrel stitch-and-glue kayak i shaped the end-pours so that the deck fits tightly on the hull. i cut a small slot through the tips so that the ends of the deck could protrude rather than rest on the high point, which would leave a gap between the edge of the hull and the edge of the deck..
